Dental Implant Specialist
Dr. Kevin La received his DDS degree from UCLA School of Dentistry. After finishing the dental school, he attended his post graduate residency program and received his certificate in AEGD at UPenn School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. La is an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and now serves as a mentor for Associate Fellow Candidates. He is also a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/ Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID).
The ABOI/ID Diplomate designation symbolizes the highest level of competence in implant dentistry. Certification by the ABOI/ID attests to the fact that a dentist has demonstrated knowledge, ability, and proficiency in implant dentistry through a rigorous examination process.
Dr. La enjoys sharing his implant specialty knowledge with fellow doctors as a mentor in study clubs and implant training courses, and he has been lecturing all phases of the implant dentistry, both surgical and restorative, basic and advanced, for the past several years.
Currently, he lives in Seattle and serves as a teaching faculty at the Pacific Implant Academy (PIA) and co-director for the PIA Implant Live Surgery Course in Tijuana, Mexico.
